An annual massive festival set on a grand stage offering entertainment like no other parties; it is the Glastonbury Festival! For five consecutive days, 2000 acres of land around farms in Pilton hosts will have small tents and the best groups, in Somerset. More than 100 platforms with unlimited genre of music, poetry, cabaret, theatre, green crafts and circus await you for the 25th edition of this festival. Colours, tunes and spontaneity will be at the rendezvous from Wednesday 21st to Sunday 25th of June.

This festival is celebrated each year since 1970, one day after the death of Jimi Hendrix. The first Festival was over a two-day period, and was meant to be on a small scale but the words got around, and 1,500 people were present throughout the festival. This annual music celebration was first held by Michael Eavis who was inspired by the Blues Festival to begin his own thing for the locals. From 1970 till now, great artists such as David Bowie, Elvis Costello, The Psychedelic Furs, UB40, Pink Floyd, Lenny Kravitz, Oasis, Coldplay, Robbie Williams and Shakira have performed at the festivals.

For a relaxing Sunday, choose your stage and enjoy any of these artists: Ed Sheeran, Biffy Clyro, Barry Gibb, Boy Better Know, Stormzy, Metronomy, Justice, Laura Marling and Cinematic Orchestra.

Many other groups and artists such as Katy Perry, The Clean Bandit, Cigarettes after Sex, Imagine Dragons, Lorde and Empire of the Sun have been confirmed, but the days they will perform has not been allocated yet.

The aim of the festival is to donate around £2 million to Greenpeace, Oxfam, WaterAid and other local and international causes. The tickets are already available and you can grab yours by registration anytime!
