The New Forest, Britain's newest National Park, was created by William the Conqueror in 1079 as a hunting area. In 1666, King Charles II made New Park Manor, in the heart of this ancient forest, his favourite hunting lodge on his return from exile in France, and his royal coat of arms is displayed prominently above the fireplace in our award-winning restaurant, Stags. The New Forest Suite, situated on the ground floor, is a large rectangular room, which can be divided into two excellently proportioned rooms. French doors open on to a private terrace and a private sitting area away from the main house. The elegant Rufus Lounge offers full length windows and opens into the Terrace Room, which can be used as a syndicate room, or in its own right for smaller conferences, also with full length windows, and direct access onto a patio area. |
The New Forest Suite can be separated into two smaller rooms, Elm and Oak.
Chef's Dining Room A small intimate room that reflects the history and provenance of the manor.. Maximum 12 people, boardroom style. Only £200.00 per day Terrace Room This stunning room has beautiful views of the
gardens and the forest beyond. |
